アイアンマン西オーストラリア（12月6日予定）の開催中止が決定した。
昨年（2019年）11月に参加したアイアンマンコズメルのあとに、来年2020年12月のアイアンマン西オーストラリア大会への参加を考えていた。
今年のフルアイアンマンは、3月ニュージーランド、8月カザフスタン、12月西オーストラリアと思っていたが、西オーストラリアも開催中止。
9月第1週に開催されたアイアンマンタリン（エストニ）が無事終了したことを知った際は、もしかして西オーストラリアあるかもって期待してましたが、
仕方ないですね。
もう中止予定済みだったので、何とも思いませんね（笑）
今よりも、より強くなって2021年会いましょう！！って書いてある。本当にそう思う。がんばろう！！

Well, this is the news we really hoped we didn’t have to deliver this year – but with a very heavy heart, we are confirming that IRONMAN Western Australia and IRONMAN 70.3 Western Australia 2020 will not be going ahead.
2020 continues to throw everything at us, and while we’ve remained optimistic the situation would have improved by December, but due to the ongoing uncertainty of international and domestic border restrictions, we regret to advise that IRONMAN Western Australia and IRONMAN 70.3 Western Australia cannot take place as planned on 6 December 2020.
We know this will bring on a mix of emotions, many of you will be disappointed by this news and others will understandably be relieved to have some certainty. Please know that our team is gutted. We really wanted to end the year on a positive and see you back doing what you love.
All currently registered athletes have been sent an email from us today with details on their options, but if you haven't received this first email, please contact us at westernaustralia@ironman.com.
While we are prevented from holding the event in 2020, we are already looking forward to all of us coming back stronger in 2021.
